The book I learned how to read and write with... And what a pity that textbooks today are just total trash. The German school system is going backwards and they're even proud of it. Instead of giving better lessons, they just fill class rooms with more plastic crap and white boards and technology. A teacher who uses the words "Shut up!" and shouts at a kid, that is a shitty, miserable and inefficient teacher. Nothing to add there. Shouting at 6 year olds is proof of you not being cut out of that job. How about improving methods instead of just removing old but good materials, tools and furniture?

It's one week of school and my kid already gets her spirit crushed for merely wanting to be a good kid, wanting to participate and *boom* knowing more than others. My daughter taught herself how to read, and I am no soul crusher a hole, so why would I keep her from doing that?
